Since it was reshuffled in 2001, the Rights Department under New World Press has spared no effort to establish good relationships with publishers and literary agents at home and abroad. Now the Rights Department has had worked for quite a long time with over 20 publishers and literary agents, exchanging information and experience while granting the license of a dozen books to foreign publishers and gaining the permission of almost the same number of books to publish their simple Chinese editions. It has been decided that Rights Manager Frank Jiang will attend this year's Frankfurt Book Fair schueduled for October 9-14, during which time he will recall friendship with old friends of his heartily and make new friends with those who will participate in the forthcoming book fair.
